Today's episode offers a reframe around the purpose of money and how we use it as a metric of success of how well we're doing. Of our worthiness or any of the potentially reductive or superficial ways that we understand the mirror that money is. We're going to go through the looking glass, go deeper and look at truly what money is a reflection of. Because it actually exists at the space between spirit and structure. As above, so below we are the bridge between, and money is that interesting flow, that is both a reflection of our actual tangible financial flow, but is also just as much, if not more so when it comes to the source of it as the energetic flow that it's mirroring. And when it comes to this energy side, we're talking more abundance is the label for it, that then that abundant flow manifests as cash. So the mirror that it is is able to show us where or how well our life is flowing, or where, and how much we might be experiencing blockages that then manifest as scarcity or dry spells when it comes to the physically tangible manifest money. So it encompasses way more than most people think it does or relate to it in real time around the bigger purpose that it actually can be for you. It's dynamic. It's more than a number and more than a mindset. It's a living, breathing, dynamic reflection of your cosmic design in motion, or potentially in pause or install. One thing I like to think about when it comes to how we're able to use money as the mirror it's meant to be is this idea that how you do one thing is how you do everything or the way this principle lands and grounds for me is inside of my psychedelic background. That place where everything is a hall of mirrors, everything is reflecting everything else. You can see everything reflected in everything else, so you're able to get information through the simple metric of your money and cashflow and related numbers that end up giving you so much more information beyond that, that you can apply to understanding how well things are in rhythm or flowing or growing in general in your life. You've probably experienced this a lot of times there's the expression right when it rains, it pours. I don't know what the positive side of that is, but just as much when it rains blessings, it pours blessings. When things start to turn up in our health, our relationships, or whatever area of our life, our business, we tend to see that things turn up in other areas too, there's kind of this like overall energetic flow or eddie. I think part of the reason this happens is because when things are working in one area, it creates a kind of momentum, an optimism, and it ends up spilling out and impacting other areas of our lives. And of course the same is true in reverse. When things don't go our way, our attitude shifts. We start to lose faith in the flow of blessings coming our way. We get a little bit more contracted or constricted and call in less or are open to seeing and receiving less opportunity or positive things in our life. When we have areas in our life where the flow gets stuck, there's similar ripples of that, that affect other areas as well. And of course, this isn't black and white. Sometimes things are going well in one area, not in another. But in general, if you zoom out and look at the big picture, you can see energetic trends that things start to follow. Of course, we can also look to astrology to get some indication of how that flow and rhythm functions. But the point here is that money then becomes this relatively simple and clean and clear metric and mirror of the overall health of your energetic ecosystem. Of course I know of no better tool to understand how we're designed to be in flow and how to align with our unique design to be able to find and maintain flow. Then our astrology chart. So I'm gonna go into a little bit of astrology basics here to understand how this works. In your chart, you have planets, signs and houses. The planet is the part of you, the side of you. Something in you that it wants something or is motivated by something. I love the parallel of IFS. Internal family systems, where we're able to unpack and identify what are these parts that live inside of us. Astrology is such a cool tool to reflect that as well. We can often find parallels of identifying those same parts as the planets expressing in our chart. Then we have the signs for each planet. That's the style, the motivation, the expression that that planet moves through. This brings our first clue to these flow, generative, supportive processes, right? If we have these parts of us and each of them is motivated to express or show up or engage in a certain kind of way. That can be one clue, oh if I'm not doing that, if I'm not aligned with the style of that sign and that archetype, then there's a mismatch there. Things are probably not flowing as optimally as they could when it comes to that part of me. And lastly, such an important piece, I like to talk about flow with the metaphor of water. Obviously my signature program, cosmic currency, plays on and doubles down on this. But another way to think of it, that can be really helpful, is the flow of electricity and how it needs a ground to be able to complete its circuit. Another great metaphor for this, the Aquarion in me, is that electric energy, that is lightning, lightning is all of this potential energy in the sky that just needs somewhere to land, to ground, and that's how it's able to complete its circuit and express as the bright flash of light that is lightning. This metaphor is so perfect to talk about the role of the houses in your chart, you have these parts of you that are designed to express in a certain way, with the house they're designed to ground and land into a certain area of your life. So this can be another place where there's clues to why things aren't flowing as optimally as they could be. If there's a part of you that's designed to express in a certain way, and you're not expressing it into the life arena that it's meant to ground into, you're not aligning it with the design of how that energy is meant to flow. Something's getting stopped up. It's not able to ground as optimally the way that lightning electricity in the air and sky is meant to ground into the earth. There's a particular earth-like arena that your energy is meant to ground into for these different parts of you, and that's how you complete that optimal alignment that we experience as flow. Getting back to the other metaphor that works so well for this with water, I love to think about a river stream or flow, there are natural channels that it's meant to flow through, but if the water gets diverted and has to find its own path in some other way, other than that natural carved out, designed way that it's meant to in that moment, it's gonna come across more obstructions. It's gonna move more slowly. It's not gonna be able to flow nearly as freely. Bringing it all home to the topic of money flow and abundance that we're focusing on here. When the energy circuits of your design are able to complete, then abundance flows and follows as part of that natural design. Basically a byproduct of you being in alignment with your natural design. Let's ground this that we're talking about with an example. Let's say that you have Mars in Taurus, so the source of your energy and your excitement and your motivation is meant to be more steady and consistent. You're designed for a kind of sustainable momentum. You are not someone, unlike me, I have Mars in Aries who is designed to have quick bursts of energy, almost erratically, so. But You jump on'em when they come and you ride them all the way like I've been doing lately in the new version and evolution of cosmic currency, that I am gonna circle back to and tease a bit more on in the end of this episode. These are two very different wirings. So if you have Mars in Taurus and you're trying to force yourself into embodying a lot of energy or basically trying to act like me and Mars in Aries, maybe you have someone in your life that's of a different design and they're inspiring to you and you try and do it like them. Or maybe you have a mentor or a coach that's teaching you to do things like them in a way that works for them, but they're like me and they're a Mars in Aries person that rides those waves and catches them when they come. But you're Mars in Taurus. And that is not your design. You're meant to slow and steady in a more disciplined way, show up with your energy to keep it almost like stoking a fire, like a campfire instead of Mars in Aries people. It's like lighting a match and doing as much as you can with that flame before it goes out. Let's take this example a step further with grounding it into the house. My Mars in Aries is in my fifth house. When I catch those rides of inspiration, the thing that I ground it into is my creativity. I'll often, when I get a new idea for a new offer or a new direction, the first thing that I just pour that energy into are the graphics, the new branding, the more aesthetic and creative side of it, that's what then creates that wave of momentum that I can ride and carry forth into some of the other tasks. But let's say your Mars in Taurus is in the seventh house of relationships with other people. What's going to sustain your motivation and energy is to, obviously, we already said with Taurus, make it a more sustainable, consistent, showing up. And to do it, not alone, but with other people. To have mirrors and coaches and mentors and colleagues in your life where you regularly show up, say for coworking sessions, that's going to keep your fire lit. And if we're talking like I am about how you show up in your business to keep that flame stoked for your income generating activities, if you are misaligned because you are not showing up in alignment with your design and grounding it in the way that you are also designed to, that's probably going to show up in your money. You're not going to have the success that you envision or would like to have because you're going against your design. And in this way, again, money becomes a mirror and it's helpful to look at. You might see that times that you are aligning more with that Mars in Taurus in the seventh house, and you do have someone in your corner that you can regularly, consistently, daily or weekly show up to talk about the things that are exciting to you, to hold yourself accountable to taking action and reporting back that maybe there's more money that flows in during those times. And you might notice that times that you are trying to hustle and force yourself to act in a way that goes against your design that's out of alignment. You might notice that the money does not flow quite as freely. But here's the thing, even as an abundance astrologer that understands the cheat codes that are so helpful in aligning with your energy and being the most optimal version of you to show up as the boss inside your business. When it comes to making money and using money flow as a metric of how well energy is flowing in your life. This isn't just something we do in our heads. This isn't just a mental understanding or even an emotional anchor that's going to achieve this for you. I said before, and I'll say it a million times, as above, so below, we exist in the spectrum between. So if your relationship with your money flow has primarily been around mindset and mantras and trying to align mentally and even spiritually and emotionally, energetically with the principles of abundance. But you haven't leaned just as seriously into the practical physical domain that becomes the landing strip for actual money to manifest. Then you are missing half of the equation and likely have not found much success, much sustainable success with your currency flow. Because while being energetically aligned is what opens and receives the flow of abundance, having solid systems in place, 3D in this world systems, that's what actually catches it, makes it manifest physically, channels it, sustains it. You may not be of this world, but you are in this world, and if you are playing the game of self-employment, you need to be just as focused when it comes to the money as a mirror of all of the other matrices of flow in your life as the alignment piece, the abundance piece, the mindset piece with the other half of the equation. That is the systems, the practices, the structure that actually maintains that flow like scaffolding, my favorite metaphor, getting back to the water and the river is the understanding and the nature shown example that the river is made possible by the banks that support it. Otherwise you just have a flood. So even having lots of water, lots of money, if you don't have the structures in place to intentionally and mindfully catch it, channel it where it's meant to go and sustain and grow it. You don't really have anything you can rely on. And being able to rely on your flow, your money flow of abundance is where financial security comes in. And your role as the CEO/CFO at the Boss Queen Chair at the center of your business vehicle. Is again, to be just as invested in the flow as the structure that supports it. I mentioned at the beginning of this episode, part of my intention of the deep dive of this episode is to remind you that whatever amount you're making is not a reflection of your worth. It's not a reflection of your success. It's not a reflection of anything other than where you are right now, and that is always going to shift too. So it's not like you do this once you look in the mirror and you're good. Money is meant to be a living, breathing, dynamic, ever present mirror for the self-employed to continue to notice where you're blocked, where you're straying from that natural path that's there to serve and support you, and how to get back on track. So sometimes the flow is flowing and sometimes it needs a little extra TLC tending and loving care to get it back to good. One thing that's so common inside the container of cosmic currency is that once somebody actually looks in the mirror, which is what we do in this program, they can feel like they're coming up short or like they're a failure. A lot of times there's a lot that comes up emotionally to actually be willing to look very clearly at where you sit financially right now. Oftentimes you finally are honest with yourself what the gap is between what you're bringing in and what your responsibilities are going out. But the other thing that's just as common in that space is the transformation that it makes possible to finally take that honest look. It's a powerful thing to have the real awareness of what's going on because once you can see it, you can start to see the patterns and you can actually shift it. Not to mention, when you let money be a mirror, as it's intended to be, it ends up being such a valuable, fun part of your growth game. If you're like me and you love to grow and become a better version of yourself to become more successful in business. A lot of times there is a parallel. You might notice that you've been, because you're paying attention, you notice that you've been overspending in your business, there's some leakage there. You've been paying recurring monthly for something you don't even use, for example. This may end up mirroring, unmet emotional needs or overgiving unconsciously in your relationships. And it's recursive. That one might point back to your money. So it's an angle where so many people are avoidant of looking at the mirror of money, but it ends up being such a valuable ally and missing piece in the matrix of mirrors that are all of your reflections. Ultimately, there's no such thing as doing any of this right. If you take anything away from this episode, let it be that your role and invitation and responsibility as the steward of your money isn't to make a certain amount. It isn't for any tangible thing in particular, what your role is, is to commit to regular attention given, time spent, practices performed. Just like in any relationship, it's about showing up for the commitment that you've made to it and show up in the ways that it needs you to, when it needs you to. Sometimes this might look like a reassessment of what's out of alignment. It might look like an astrology reading to get those codes and that map back to what alignment is for you. It might look like some systems work around what your regular money practice is to optimize on that. It's never all the things all the time, but it is a cycle and a rhythm of checking in and tending these things so that you stay in right relationship with them. Just like any relationship, sometimes the relationship is just coasting. Things are good, things are working. Sometimes you go through crunchy spots and you have to lean in and put more effort into moving through. There's all kinds of different parts and phases and seasons of the cycle, like in any relationship with money. The thing is you were always meant to have one hand in each world. You are a double agent of sorts. You are just as here and grounded and incarnated into this world to play the game of business here. As you are to be connected with your guides, your bigger purpose, yourself as a vital energy system that aligns with the deeper work, the less visible motivations, the strings that are animating the service that you actually perform for clients. It's both when it comes to your work in the world, and it's both when it comes to your abundant money flow.
