Mercury's moonwalk's back in play and all the blogs say stay away. Don't launch, don't sign. Don't make big moves. Just sit and wait till things improve. But what if slow was still momentum and chaos cracked the next expansion? What if the lag or misdirection was Mercury sending you a notification. To realign, revise, refresh to trade the polish for the flesh? I'm not here to beg the skies. I'm here to move, to test, to try. So Mercury said, nah, and I said, go. Let's see where this retrograde wants to flow. Let's get clear on one thing real quick, when it comes to the kind of astrologer I am and the way that I embrace and use and benefit from the tool of astrology. I do not check the stars, check the transits, check my app to see what's going on, so that I can know what to do or not to do, to get some kind of external authority, tell me what I cannot do. That is not a way that I use the tool of astrology. I've never been a big fan of the good or bad really labeled dichotomy for anything, but especially with astrology, good transits, bad transits really means nothing to me. Maybe it's because I have so much Scorpio in me, so when it comes to an aspect being challenging, I'm like, ugh, bring it. Maybe that's it, I don't know. Maybe it's because of the Aquarius in me that makes me a rebel. And I'm like, don't tell me how it's going to be. I create my own reality. Whatever it is, I have never approached or used astrology as any kind of damning or deterministic or in any way, guidance that I'm going to let fuck with my flow basically. And as far as I see it, it is not here to hand out red lights of any kind. It is here to show me how to move with the energy that's present, not to wait for it to behave or wait for things to be favorable so that I do what I feel like doing. So when this Mercury Retrograde rolled in a few days ago, like every other one, three times a year, that I've experienced, I didn't freeze, I didn't cancel things. I actually decided to double down and schedule a live free training. Which I'm going to tell you more about and I am so excited about. And I did it during Mercury Retrograde. Not only that though, not only did I not let it tell me, let Mercury Retrograde tell me I wasn't going to do this training on that day, I also did it on purpose. And this episode is about what I've learned, breaking the rules when it comes to Mercury Retrograde and how you can actually use it, and astrology in general, to reclaim your sovereignty, your rhythm, and your power, instead of using it as something to outsource your power to. We are going to look at why I don't use astrology to tell me when to act and what I do instead, what Mercury Retrograde actually means and is for and what it's not here to do, the deeper invitation behind the tech fails, the delays, any messy misfires that may happen, why I actually scheduled a live training during this Mercury Retrograde on purpose, what to stay open to during this retrograde in general, every time it rolls around and how to spot your notifications, and how this retrograde is opening the door to a bigger conversation about money, timing, and cosmic design that I am so excited to invite you to. Let's dive in. Firstly, I said it, and I'll say it again, astrology is not meant to tell you not to go. It's not a red light, it's not meant to tell you to stop. It is an alignment tool, and I know this word gets thrown around, but as far as I'm concerned, it is a very powerful one when we are talking about what I see as right relationship with astrology. Which is that we're not stopping at red lights of bad transits or unfavorable ones. We're not going at green lights of favorable cosmic weather. It really is just about being aware of what the matrix or constellation of archetypes and energy is, really in the present moment I'll say I'm not a huge fan necessarily of predicting or projecting too far into the future. I love astrology as a tool to understand the moment when I'm in something that feels big, and especially to look at the past when something's gone down and give it that cosmic context. In any case, it is all about working with the weather. So whether that is the way that I'm framing the timing that I'm choosing around future plans. Whether that is in the moment orienting myself, aligning myself through my awareness of the waves that I'm surfing, so that I can show up accordingly. Or whether it's the past and how I am reframing what happened based on the weather that was animating me, or that I was being influenced by when whatever happened happened. Whatever it is, whether it's future planning, present orientation, or the stories you tell yourself about your past, the point is not to outsource your decision making, your presence, your positioning based on the transits. It's about attuning to them. In this way, alignment, the way that I frame and understand and live by it is all about responsiveness, not adherence necessarily. When it comes to Mercury Retrograde specifically, again, I keep saying this over and over, it is not a red light. The way you've heard it talked about, don't do this, don't do that, right? It is a reroute and it is a huge missed opportunity for so many people. Mercury governs your mental operating systems internally and your tech systems as an external projection of that mental map. So when it retrogrades, even though it may seem like chaos, what's actually happening is, I talked about it already and I'm going to continue with this metaphor of notifications, another way to think about it is it's like your cosmic dashboard lighting up. It's like a check engine light coming on, or in this case a check operating system. So when the slowdowns happen, when things don't happen as they used to, when things aren't flowing as expected, it's really that you're getting that notification. You're not being punished, right? Mercury is not doing this to you. It's happening for you because what it is pointing to is opening up an invitation in a very particular area of your internal or external operating system, whether that's your beliefs and thought patterns, or your tech systems and stack. It's an invitation for you to get curious, lean in, and ultimately to update and rewire how you think, organize, communicate, and set up your tech systems, for more efficiency. It's ultimately for the cause of getting more of what you want. This brings me to the gift in the glitches, which is that those delays, those breakdowns, those things just not working that make you want to pull your hair out because they were working before and it doesn't make any sense, are notifications not obstacles or if they are obstacles, it is that wisdom that the way forward is through, and that there is something there for you. That friction that you feel something to remind you whenever it happens, it's not something you did wrong, you are not failing. It's that again, there is an opportunity to find a better way in a very specific area of your mental or tech map and the extra spaciousness that is recommended because you know that these things are probably going to happen, is to actually deliberately and consciously meet it halfway to make room to engage those reroutes when they want to happen. If you're listening to this and thinking, yeah, but it still sucks. Totally, it does still suck. Especially though if you haven't made the extra time and if you haven't allowed yourself to get curious, but also to do this enough times. It's just one of those things where you show yourself that, wow, there really was a gem there for me. If you are not so frustrated that you're not able to see it, or if you just don't have the time to go there. Sometimes we're live, again we'll see what happens in this webinar that's coming up, but also sometimes the stakes are higher than others, right? For example, if you are live and your tech fails, or when it comes to the realm of your money flow and the tech that supports your revenue coming in, your expenses and investments being paid and going out to support the things you need and rely on. When it comes to money, this might feel a little bit heavier and a little bit harder to lean into the curiosity when you really needed that payment to go through. And if you're feeling that you're not alone, I'm sure you're not the only one thinking that right now in this episode, and I totally feel you. And for a second, let's talk about what that money flow is, because this is actually a big part of what I'm going to be going more deeply into in this upcoming live training, because for so many people you are a magical manifester There's a certain flow that you've come to rely on and really frame as something magical and positive, but you're starting to wonder if it's actually supportive to you to just be in that moment to moment flow that shows up like a constant loop of little micro stressors and panics to scramble to call in what you need when you need it. Hoping everything is all going to work out, which of course it does, right? Because you are a magical manifester, so the problem is not your magic or your abilities around manifestation. The problem though might be that you've grown, you've changed, and the way that you approach your money flow hasn't changed with you because it's no longer enough just to make what you need when you need it. You actually want more, you want extra. You want to be able to splurge and save and invest in your future or create a legacy for your children. As we grow up, our dreams get bigger, and we need more structure and intention with the way we flow our money to be able to support that co-creation. I stay present to my intuition and all of my moving parts to choose what feels right, and then I go and look at the cosmic weather, which often, and again, whether it's future, present, or past ends up blowing my mind with like, oh, duh, that makes sense. Which the way this actually went down, the inspiration for this episode to specifically talk about why I'm choosing to do this tomorrow while Mercury is retrograde, a biz bestie asked me, she's like, um, but wait, you're doing this on Mercury Retrograde, what gives? I told her exactly why I saw it as an incredible opportunity and decided that this was one too, to tell you exactly why. So it's not rebellion though, I mentioned that sometimes I wonder why I have the approach I do the various parts of my chart that it might be, archetypes that live inside me. But no, in this case, it does not feel rooted in my Aquarian rebellion, it truly feels rooted in resonance, and here's why. This is the first of what will ultimately be many iterations of this webinar or one similar to it, but it's my first time really doing one. And that means there are so many learning curves, on learning curves, on learning curves right now. Decisions, kinks to iron out, tweaks to make to what is ultimately going to become something that is repeatable that I iterate on and do again in the future. And also that I want to really refine into something spectacular to provide as an evergreen opt-in experience for the ad funnel that I'm building. So it occurred to me when I realized that Mercury's retrograde, that this is actually all too perfect because what happens when Mercury's retrograde? Weird shit happens, right? Things that, like I've been saying, you wouldn't know or notice otherwise, when things are just flowing like they should. Mercury Retrograde comes and points out the cracks, points out what is not ideal, and I actually really want and crave that for this experience, because the whole purpose of it is as the foundation and birthing ground for the Virgo refinement, and perfecting that will follow. So, of course, I want to get as much information as possible, as much rerouting as is necessary to make this truly exceptional. And here's the other part of it. This is such a big undertaking. Everything that I'm building as part of this pivot, as part of starting back from the bottom and building everything back up, and there's a lot of pieces. There's a lot of things that need to be built, a lot of bricks that need to be laid. Ultimately I realized I just needed to take super messy action. I needed to give myself the cosmic permission to just let this first version of all of this be messy on purpose and to take the pressure off of myself for it to be even something that I like. Although when I do that, I end up loving it because I love the things that come through when I'm in this space. But the point is that I needed to move, I needed to go, I needed to create, I needed to show up, and I need to make this real. The point is not about success. Success is a bonus. Whatever that ends up looking like for this event, and I hope you'll show up to be a part of it because that will make it so much more successful the more people that I'm able to reach and transmit this to. But in any case, baseline, my intention is set and will not only be guaranteed, but will surely be enhanced, amplified, supported by Mercury pointing out the cracks. Now, I'm not saying this might not get a little chaotic, who knows, right? The mystery is there, but what I am saying is that I'm going to take it in stride like I always do and basically be an example of that even if things go wrong. I'm very adaptable when it comes to tech. I have a quick aquarion mind in the third house. That mental space for me loves the dance with Mercury. So I'm here. Let's bring it. Let's go and I hope you'll go there with me. That said, let's back up a little bit and I want to speak to in general what to stay open to. Obviously you probably, unlike me, are not doing a live training. So I want to give some guidance and leave you with some perspective to take with you through the rest of this retrograde and into future ones, which is in general to watch out for those notifications when they come, and to really reframe it as that, rather than things going wrong or glitches or failures, that you're just being notified and to pattern interrupt and correct yourself if you have a tendency to go somewhere else with it. With frustration like, oh, Mercury's notifying me right now. Whether it's a tech issue that's coming up, or old ideas returning that feel conflicting, or people from your past, or communication tension or patterns like wrenches in the gears, whatever it is, just notice and realize like, oh, I'm being notified right now and don't force anything. Create some spaciousness around what's happening. Get observant and just notice, because not only are you being notified there is something that wants to come through for you if you're paying attention and open to receive it. Like I said before, retrogrades invite responsiveness. So be mindful and conscious in how you respond to those moments of notification and let the rewrote happen again, get curious, and I am telling you, not guaranteeing, but almost, where you get redirected to might actually be better than what you had hoped happen. When that gem comes through where you find some new way to do things, you will end up having that moment of like, oh my God, I'm so glad that didn't go my way. I'm so glad I found this new way because it's going to be so much better. I also want to give you a really specific advice and feedback when something like this happens, call tech support. If you are not somebody that normally does that, if you're somebody that normally just Googles or goes to chat and asks for troubleshooting, let the notification try it, try it for one Mercury Retrograde cycle and just see if this ends up being as magical for you as it almost always is for me, during Mercury Retrograde. Call tech support. Have someone walk alongside you as you move through the issue. Not only are you going to feel supported instead of damned around what's not working, which is a total 180, u-turn, vibe shift when things aren't going your way. But here's the magical piece is, especially if you have this kind of perspective, if you create the opening that I'm talking about, so many times for me, 9 times out of 10 when I do this, I end up learning from that customer service representative, something I like, magical missing piece, didn't even know, not the reason I was calling for and not what I was asking about, but something gets presenced during that conversation, during that support ticket, where I'm like, no f-ing way, I had no idea that was a thing. I didn't know that was possible. Oh my goodness, you just made my day. And by the way, thank you for helping me fix the thing. I'm telling you, it's a thing, it happens if you go into it expecting it. Obviously, don't get let down if it doesn't happen, but if you make this a new way that you respond to specifically tech issues during Mercury Retrograde when they're happening, you will get your mind blown eventually. And with that, I'll span out even further to the bigger conversation that this is a part of, of how energy flows and money is just a material version of that and timing and intentional design and how all of these things work together to position you in the CEO seat of the co-creator ship that is your business. Mercury Retrograde showed me, especially through my unique approach of it, how timing and systems, in terms of how I've developed, it's a way that I like to talk about automation. What is my response? At first, it was a pattern interrupt. Eventually it became a system and a way of life to respond the way that I do when things go wrong during Mercury Retrograde, and sovereignty. Again, these things are not happening to you. They're happening with you, and if you come at it with the right approach, they might even start happening for you in a pronoia, conspiracy, pro conspiracy working for you, orchestrating things in direct response to things you didn't even know you need, kind of magic.
