You've got ideas, but they scatter like dust. A vision that's solid, but systems you don't trust. You've mapped it, you've named it, you've whispered it loud, but you're stuck in your brain, lost up in the cloud. You try to delegate, but don't know what to say, so you spiral in silence and push it away. You think automation is cold, stiff, and dry, but really it's how your intentions can fly. It's not about bots or apps with a glitch, it's about giving your clarity one simple switch. So if your mind's tired of carrying the weight, let's breathe some new space into how you operate. You don't need another idea, you need the space to make your ideas the stream of consciousness, your mental flow move. Air is the element of structure that breathes, not boxes you in, if that's what you think of a structure, but clears the mental clutter, the chaos, helps you and supports you to hold the vision, to implement it, and to keep your strategy moving at the pace of your energy. Air moves quickly. It wants to be able to shape shift and adapt, and you need to be able to give it the space to do so in a way that's supportive to you. If fire lit the match that began this series and water taught you how to feel it in the last episode, air is the one that gets it organized, repeatable, and supported. I like to use the idea of automation when I talk about the air element in business and when I do so, I'm not just talking about tech so bear with me, I have a much bigger perspective around what automation is and does, what our role is around it, and the superpower that it gives us to be able to turn our ideas, our visions into something that's implemented, basically like a spell that gets enacted. So again, automation is not just cold tech. The truth is it's energetic clarity in motion. It is your systems learning to think like you so that they're an extension of you and don't drain you. When you pair that with cosmic timing and clear awareness of what's actually happening inside of your business, it stops relying on your brain to keep it running. This episode is about freeing your mental bandwidth to focus on what matters and to occupy more of your genius zone inside your business, building the structures that actually help you breathe easier, and learning to move with the wind of air instead of against it. We are going to talk about why automation isn't just tech, it's your energetic clarity in motion. The real reason systems feel hard, and how to make them breathable and spacious. Why your brain blocks money when it only sees one path to get what you need. How cosmic timing supports adaptability and keeps your energy moving. Perspective as strategy, how altitude unlocks aligned decisions. And how to systemize your genius so your business can breathe without burning you out. Let's get into it. If you're new here and you haven't heard me talk about my frame of automation, it is not something that I consider to be just in the tech realm. Again, as I've said a couple times already, it is your energetic clarity in motion, in structure. So it's not about ditching the soul or the essence of your work, it's actually about extending or projecting it into systems that can support you because they are mirrors of, or extensions of your processes, the way you think, the way you want things to unfold, the way you want energy to move through your business. It's only possible when you are building from that place of clarity. You need to know the design, you need to know the blueprint, you need to be connected with the vision. And then from that knowing that you already do inside of you, that knowing of what you do, of how you do it, of what it's meant to feel like for the person receiving it, the user experience, the client or customer journey, this is all part of the vitality of your business. And when you're really clear what you want that to look like, you're able to systemize and automate it so that it can happen reliably without you having to man or tend it constantly. Just like your life reflects your internal beliefs and energetic set points, your business reflects your internal clarity and the state and relationship of your nervous system. Just like your life can only be as dialed as you are intentional about what you're creating or co-creating inside of it, your systems cannot be clearer than you are. If you're resisting automation, let this be an opening and an opportunity to consider that it might not actually be the tech that's turning you off. It might be the discomfort of being seen in your process. The discomfort of the gap between where you are now and actual clarity of design around how you want your business to run. If you're not sure about the details and the processes and the steps. If you haven't taken the time to really get in there and see what's going on in your mind and what you think about and what the steps are, if you haven't written them down, right? If you don't have SOPs, if it's all just in your head in an unconscious way, you are not actually able to automate in a way that feels good, in a way that feels in flow. There's nothing clear to be able to extend into your tech systems so that they are a projection or an extension of you, your magic, your essence, your genius. Because truly that's where the magic lives. When your internal design, which of course I love to use the tool of astrology to understand what those inner workings are, what makes you unique, special, and different, when that can be translated into something that someone else or some tech tool through automation can run with for you, you're off to the races and you can focus on what you need to be focusing on. This is sacred strategy, and if this is a new perspective for you, it's that to do so, you're not outsourcing anything, you're expressing. It's coming from within and being expressed and systemized without. If this discomfort is familiar to you, let's look at now the real reason that systems feel hard and how to make them more breathable and more spacious. If you've ever said or thought to yourself, I hate systems, what you likely mean is I hate other people's systems, ones that were not designed for you by you and are not an extension of you. Because breathable systems are not rigid, they're adaptive, just like you are. They're designed around how you naturally move and they're able to move with you. Alternatively, when your systems feel stifling, it's usually because they weren't built from your language, your rhythm, or your design. They were not built around what matters to you. The air element reminds us that structure should serve circulation. If it chokes your energy, if it makes you feel stagnant, it's not a sacred container, it's a trap. So let's together reframe systems as part of your spell work. A form of it that lets your energy move further, faster, and with less friction, so you can focus on your genius zone and the stuff that you actually want to be doing, right? You shouldn't be playing robot, you shouldn't be having to do things over and over or constantly rethink how did you do it before. You should be, and hopefully are, embracing more and more the optimization that is possible, the efficiency that is available to you, the time that gets freed when you turn your processes into systems. This is what I call automation. It starts with an inside job, it eventually gets supported by the tech tools that are available to us that are just becoming more and more helpful all the time with AI and is a big part of the air element inside your business. Now let's ground this train of thinking into money specifically and the money flow of your business. Here's what happens when you can only with your mind, your air mental energy, see one path or one way that money could come, or maybe you can't see any at all. Maybe you're in the place of knowing how much you need to bring in and not even believing that it's possible. Not seeing a single pathway whereby that could happen or not allowing yourself to because you don't actually believe it's possible. Either way, if your brain doesn't believe it's possible at all or thinks that there's only one way to hit your revenue goals through income streams within or outside of your business, you're either going to white knuckle it through or ultimately burn out. You're not going to be in the space of spacious receptivity where money comes in, because of course you're going to bring in enough to cover your expenditures. That's balance, that's by design, that's alignment. But if you block it with your brain, you're getting in the way. The thing about air and that mental sphere is air wants options. Air wants spacious options. Spaciousness to be able to move and have other pathways that you didn't even think of. It thrives when there is space for that movement, when the how itself is flexible and when new roots can emerge as needed. This is why clarity, that mental air superpower, expands your receiving when it comes to money flow. Because when your brain can see multiple pathways for that money that you need, that specific amount that you know needs to come in to arrive, you can soften. Again, you don't need to know the how, but what you do need to do is give your brain what it needs, show your brain how many different ways that it could happen so that you can break out of that limitation that comes from its doubts. That's why mapping out those possibilities, actually showing yourself through different income streams, different timelines, different offers and quantities, and playing with all of that stuff actually opens up the mental and energetic space for the miracle to come through essentially, this or something better. You know what you need to bring in. You show your mind, look, there's so many different ways that this could happen. You continue to do the work and show up and be of service, and ultimately you've created that open spaciousness for the how that you didn't even think of to solve that puzzle essentially. So systems in general, but specifically in this case, don't just keep you on track, eye on the prize, they actually show you how many tracks there really are so that you open your mind to new possibilities. Speaking of an open, adaptable mind, when you get stuck in your own mental loops, your energy gets clogged up. Very little is able to move in your reality so that the moving parts can reorient themselves to give you what you want and have asked for. But air doesn't want to loop, it wants to move, it wants to expand, and that's why I created the Cosmic Current, which is my weekly newsletter that gets sent every Mercury Day Wednesday, that syncs your strategy with the stars, with the transits, with the moving energetic terrain that is indicated by the cosmic weather each week. So you're able to stay clear, but adaptable and attuned to what actually matters right now in the moment, the opportunities available to you in the current. It is cosmic perspective grounded in your business reality and practicality, and it will help you to ride the winds and the waves instead of chasing them or getting knocked down by them. If you're not already, you can subscribe to the Cosmic Current at cosmicb.link/current. In there you'll also get each week's podcast episode delivered to you, each week's Zodiac Unhinged Roast delivered to you, as part of that weekly series. If you haven't checked those out already, they are awesome, and some behind the screens peeks into my life as a business owner building mine back up post pivot. So again, you can subscribe to get those weekly in your inbox at cosmicb.link/current. And on that note, let's now look at how cosmic timing and being aware of the shifting energetics from moment to moment supports the adaptability that air craves and keeps your energy moving. Because the thing is trying to plan anything without awareness of the timing around it is like trying to sail without checking the wind. Air wants to move, but not all wind moves in the same direction. Air is volatile and unreliable at best. So aligning your actions with cosmic timing, the map that we have available to us to better understand those unseen energetics, which of course you can look at all of the transits happening from moment to moment as a business owner and as someone that offers this lens and this mirror for other business owners, I don't look at all of the details. What I like to focus on is when planets change signs entering into new phases and chapters of their story, and the opportunity is available for us to leverage, the lunar phases so that we can be in alignment with that manifestation cycle every month and every six months, and when planets go direct and retrograde so that we can better orient ourselves with whether different parts of us are meant to be focused more inward or more outward, and we can entrain to that rhythm. Basically, I'm talking about tuning into these different energetic seasons as they shift, which helps you shift when you move and how so you can be in alignment. And this is how we avoid burnout. We launch when the tides support it, we rest when it's low wind, and we pivot when the current changes. Now, I'm not saying you have to pin yourself down to any of this, but I do know and have experience that just being aware of it helps you to naturally attune to it. So it's not like you're being told to shift in ways that don't feel aligned with where you are, it helps you to tune into those subtler energies that you were already aware of anyway, so that you can better attune to them. When it comes to business, being aware of this cosmic lens keeps your strategies alive, not stuck in some quarterly plan that doesn't actually feel like a fit. And when it comes to strategy from the air elements perspective, perspective is everything, perspective is strategy. This is why altitude, being able to move back and get a bird's eye view is how you unlock aligned decision making in your business. One of the greatest gifts of air is distance. Not to disconnect, which is the shadow side of it, but to be able to gain the clarity of that perspective. Because when you zoom out, you stop reacting and latching on to certain things, and you start discerning through seeing the bigger picture. And from that vantage point, you're no longer chasing tasks, you're designing outcomes and working toward them one step at a time. Most business owners operate from urgency and reactivity, but air gives you the elevation so that you can start to see the patterns, the pressure points, and the areas that need and want your attention. This is especially true when it comes to the money flow of your business, it's lifeline and what becomes possible and available to you when you can actually see all of the moving parts in one view. Think of it like wind across a map. It doesn't barrel through every obstacle. It's part of everything, and it adjusts and flows and finds the openings where needed. Systems and strategies become so much more aligned when they're built from this vantage point, from this altitude and that bigger picture knowing that becomes possible and available for you, that helps you to be responsive instead of reactive and align every decision you make to the bigger design and your bigger intention. So, how do you systemize your genius so your business can breathe without burning you out? Firstly, you don't have to be your business's entire mental engine. Circling back, this is the power of automation and it needs to be a regular process that every step of the way of landing on processes and workflows and decisions that you are experimenting with, that end up working for you and you want to bake in, those need to leave your mind. Your mind is ultimately the producer, but you need to then project and express those ideas out into SOPs, onto a document, in conversations with people on your team, right? You need to get it out from being all in your head because your best ideas deserve support, not the pressure of having to hold them all yourself. That is the spaciousness the air wants, and that's why your business needs to live outside your head. When you systemize your genius, whether it's your offers, your content creation processes, your client experiences, or your backend money flow, it gets to move and happen reliably without needing you 24/7. This is the bridge between air and earth, where ideas get grounded into rhythm, into form, into structure that can support you and ultimately into financial flow that can sustain you. So look, if you take nothing else away from this episode, remember that you don't actually need to do more, you need to afford yourself being able to think less. You need to let your systems hold the spells you are already casting. You need to let your vision breathe outside your brain so that your strategies can move like air, light, clear, and responsive to the bigger picture. Because the more you build from that space of clarity, the less you have to chase consistency or try to force yourself to be consistent. You're able to just naturally, as part of the flow that those systems support and the more your systems think like you, the more you feel like you can actually rest, create, and respond to what's really here, be in the moment and focus on what actually needs your attention. Remember, if you want support staying in the rhythm with the cosmic wins that move your business, make sure that you're subscribed to the Cosmic Current at cosmicb.link/current And with that, I'll see you in the next one when we ground into the Earth element.
