You were born with a pattern, a pulse, a plan, but then came the world and it changed your hand. What's coded in stars gets shaped by skin, by stories, by parents, by where you've been. We chase the light, but forget the clay. Try to skip the setup, rush the"someday". But Scorpio season won't let that slide, it drags the truth up from where it hides. Because every rebirth begins in the mess, in the version of you that you learned to repress. So before we transcend, we have to include the parts we've avoided, the ones we've subdued. That's where your wholeness starts to be seen. Your design, your conditioning, and the money between. Let's get into it. So much of who you are was infused the moment you took your first breath, before you or this world even had a say, and yet so much more was rewritten by everything that happened after. Your astrology chart, the reflection of the energetic encoding of the moment of that first breath tells one truth about the nature of your design. Your childhood tells another around the nurture of your development. Your story, the person you've become, including your money story, it exists in the space between the two. Where design meets development and where transformation becomes the integration of everything that came before to get you where you are now. We are currently at the airing of this episode closing out Scorpio season, which means the veils are thin, the mirrors we're being faced with are sometimes brutally honest, and the work is about bringing what's been running the show into the light where you can actually use it, making the unconscious conscious. In this episode, we're going to explore why evolution isn't about fixing yourself, but about including yourself. The real reason most money work doesn't stick, and what every missing approach forgets or it leaves out. I mentioned it's Scorpio season, which always brings this time of year an invitation to make the unconscious conscious. Through that process, there's an invitation to reclaim whatever was buried there. As humans, we love to split life into binaries, fate or free will, nature or nurture, strategy or soul. But Scorpio's medicine is in the synthesis of whatever those seemingly opposite or conflicting parts are, they all want to be brought in and included like symbiosis into the complex beings that we actually are. In this episode I'm focusing on this bridge between nature and nurture. Where nature is that imprint of the energetics of your first breath, as reflected in your astrology chart. This is your cosmic design that is a big part of what shaped you. On the other side, nurture, this is the sum total accumulation of your choices, your experiences, and the influences that shaped who you are, who you became, how you express yourself, all of it. Ultimately evolution, which is this force by which we are able to grow and change and transform into new versions of ourselves. We're not just stuck or limited by the design of our chart, nor are we stuck or limited to live out whatever version of ourself was shaped during our development. The principle of evolution is transcend and include. It's this and include part that Scorpio loves to remind us about because you have to take it all with you. You can't escape yourself or any part of yourself. It all needs to be brought to the light of awareness and integrated into the version of you that you carry forward. I have a lot of Scorpio in me, Scorpio south node rising, Saturn and Pluto. It is such a big part of my design and operating system, and a big reason why I love the story arc. It's infused into so much about how I support clients in Cosmic Currency. We start out with the Finance Fable, which I'll talk more about in a minute, but there's just something so powerful about framing a story arc that takes you from where you've been and what shaped you, through the version of you are in this moment being able to even conceive of the story and the arc that carries you to where you want to go. All of those pieces are part of it, the most powerful transformations or stories follow a plot arc where there is that setup, there's a climax and a catharsis for change, and then there's a resolution. There's a making it to the other side. We're always somewhere in that arc and life would not be nearly as interesting, nor would any story, movie, or book you've ever come across if it didn't follow an arc like that. If it didn't start somewhere non-ideal, potentially as the setup and take us through a transformation to get where we want to go, your life is following an arc like that too. This power of story is so important, the surrendering to living the plot and playing it out, not wanting to just transcend or bypass or skip whatever your unique setup is. We love the climax, but we resist the setup, right? We want the change, but we don't want to acknowledge and accept what we're changing from, that messy human part where contrast and conflict live, that's the juicy stuff, that's what makes the story worth telling. I mentioned in Cosmic Currency, this is where we start with the Finance Fable. You start by tracking your money relationship as a story so that you can fully accept, allow, and integrate where you were, where you've been, the influences that were beyond your control, whether we're talking about the moment you were born and the way that that imprinted on you, or the influences that were not up to you when you were young. None of this was your choice, but it is your responsibility to accept and integrate those to align with a path forward that you can now choose. That Finance Fable story that we infuse with myth and magic to make it more archetypal and really speak to the unconscious and massage the nervous system to be able to release its grip from protecting you from the change that you're calling in, takes you from where you were, to where you are, to where you're headed with clarity, with awareness, with a willingness to really look at the from where you were part. When you see your finances in this way, I mean, is there an area that is more gunked up with like past bullshit that shapes what's possible for us now? Money is such a powerful place to apply this and do this work because when you see your finances this way, any shame that you're holding, which logically is totally irrational, because again, none of this was in your control, and yet the shame lives. The shame maintains for all the ways that you've then shown up since, stuck in repeating those same patterns. That shame turns to the structure and the scaffolding for something new. The deep meaning that comes from connecting those past, present, future dots is palpable, is anything but the dry and boring that is part of most financial teachings. This stuff should be deeply meaningful to you. From the deep undercurrents that exists there around your past with money to the like deep desires that you hold for what you want money to make possible for you and for your family. Again, most money work, most money guidance completely fails because it ignores this part. It skips the narrative, it skips these deeply rooted meaningful parts of our experience trying to just fix behavior, without honoring the story behind it. So let's start with the nature side of the spectrum, that divine design you were born with that shaped you. Astrology shows the blueprint of how energy wants to move through you as a reflection of like a snapshot of the energetic matrix that was your first breath, that you breathed into you and touched and shaped every cell in your body. Before you would come to know the shifting landscape of how energy moves, you had this first moment, this home base familiarity with the energetic matrix that we can see from your birth chart that shows pathways, keys, codes to your innate rhythms for giving, receiving, stabilizing, expanding, all of it. In this way, your codes, your astrology doesn't box you in. I've never been a fan of using it this way. It is a tool that reveals the current you flow best in. The way that you are designed to receive, move, and ground energy. So the invitation isn't to fix yourself, but to use yourself essentially, and to give every part of you, that's part of that energetic matrix, a job, a purpose that serves your bigger purpose, your bigger aim and intention. That's why in Cosmic Currency, your Cosmic Codes are the map. This is the nature half of the equation that grounds all future change and makes it possible in a way that really sticks, that feels aligned with what really matters for you and ends up bringing you closer to who you are, not further from it to fit into somebody's mold, which there are plenty of those out there when it comes to how to do money. You may know pieces of the nature side of the equation for you through your astrology. You likely know your sun sign, that's your zodiac sign. Maybe you also know the other two of your big three, your moon and rising. But do you know where you are right now with money? This is the other side of the equation, the nurture side of it, the part that really shifts and changes over time. This is why I created the Cosmic Money Style Quiz because we have attachment patterns and tendencies when it comes to lots of areas of our life. You're probably most familiar with this concept when it comes to intimate relating, whether you lean anxious attached, avoidant, or disorganized, or if you're one of the lucky ones and lean toward secure attachment. But did you know that you have one of these for your relationship with money too. It's probably not the same one as your intimate relating tendency. It has everything to do with the other side of the spectrum here, the nurture, the influences, the examples that you had and often shines a light on unconscious patterns that you weren't even aware of that have been playing out with your relationship to your money. It reflects that nurture side of the equation that's there, but you might not be aware of and shows you the attachment style that shows how your history shows up now as your habits. And again, it's not fixed it changes over time, especially if you deliberately and consciously lean in to change it. It is a feedback to show you the chapter that you're currently in with money, and if you're one of the first three, that awareness can help show you the way clearly next steps to take to move towards secure attachment, which with money translates as financial security. This nurture side of the spectrum is so important. Equally so, in my opinion, to the nature side of it with your cosmic design. It develops through the learned patterns that continue to stay with you to the present moment. This could be your conditioning, your family systems, cultural money myths that were imprinted on you and can include whatever your learned language of safety, or lack of, scarcity is that you have internalized. When it comes to all of that stuff, that again, you can't control what they were, they weren't up to you, but it is in your control now to face them, to become aware of them, and to integrate them, repurpose them, to support you with your aim moving forward. These patterns don't need punishment, and often if you have an unconscious relationship to them, that's probably exactly what you've been doing without realizing it. What they really need is your presence, so that through that awareness you can forgive them, forgive the people that passed them on to you. Love them, love those parts of yourself that ideally have the best of intentions from their limited vantage point. They're probably just trying to protect you and the best way they know how. To then find their function. Tell them you're in charge here now they don't need to do that anymore, it's not actually serving or supporting you and find a way that they can serve you better, that they can use those, the same skillset, the same motivation, point it in a different direction that's aligned with what you are motivated to achieve, the direction that you want to go. Through that reassignment, you give those parts new jobs that support the person you are becoming. You liberate them from keeping you in the holding pattern of the person you have been. When you do this, the chaos becomes some kind of choreography, right? You bring everyone together onto the same team to support a rhythm that actually works and supports the causes that matter to you. But the real magic happens in the integration where both of these come together for a common cause. This is where Scorpio's realm of alchemy happens, where the merging of the nature side of your design and the nurture side of what influenced your development gets stirred together in a cauldron and turns into embodied wisdom. Inside Cosmic Currency I like to say that that is where structure becomes spell work, where you're able to craft the systems that both honor your design that shaped you on the nature side and your current capacity that's reflected through your honesty of the nurture side. Obviously, this is not the case just with money, these are principles to live and grow by, because within and beyond the realms of money integration is the universal technology of transformation. Where awareness and compassion come together through the rhythm of practice to make things possible those smaller parts of you never would have thought could be. It's a special kind of magic when you honor both your wiring and your history, when you bring it all with you, when you bring it to the light of day, when you presence it all together, you're like, yo, I have these tendencies based on the way that I was wired and the way that I was influenced by the people around me. These were the cards, the stars that I was dealt, and they become the raw material that you then have to work with in your own alchemical process to turn them into the version of you that you envision and to be able to reach the places, the lifestyle, the income levels that you fantasize about. When you bring those things in, there's certain things where you're like, oh, that makes sense, I have the example a client just gave me the feedback after hearing one of her Cosmic Codes,"I have to laugh when you say that the chaos has been preparing me for future success, I wish there was an easier way", right? There's these parts of us where it's like, for better or for worse, this is how you are, and there's some things we can change, some things we can't, but the prerequisite to changing anything is first to fully accept who and how you are right now, what got you here, because that's the only way you're going to be able to take it all with you to actually change into the future version of you that you are calling in and crafting you and your life to become. Bringing it all back to the core of the story through line, the narrative arc that makes the shifts and changes and growth in our life actually mean something. If you're feeling ready to make a change, you're not starting over, you're never starting over, you're always writing forward, transcend and include. It's the only way to truly evolve with all parts of you and though Scorpio season will soon fade, the magic that it shows us and hopefully leaves you with is here to stay, and that is that the awareness of all of your parts, whether the ones that nature started you with or nurture massaged into you, that's the doorway to actual lasting renewal. The reason that integrating those parts is so important is because it's not the end of a story, that's what makes it the beginning of a new one. It's the moment that you realize you are the author, you are the creator of your reality and the direction it takes you next. You are the one holding the pen. Something else I hope you take from this episode is that wholeness is wealth. When we talk about the money stuff, you might be thinking about like bottom lines and dollars, but ultimately we're talking about wealth, abundance, the phenomenon by which energy moves through you the way you were designed. Whether that's manifest materially as money or love or passion, or any of these things moving through you. Ultimately a wholeness around that, being aligned with your design, bringing all of your parts together to the table and the team is what is going to make any of it feel the most fulfilling. Every part of you belongs in what's next, in what's coming, in what you're calling in.
